Why "Stronger Without"

Hi, I’m Adam. I used to think strength was about addition - doing more, achieving more, proving more. That belief took me far: into the military, around the world on a bike, and into leadership roles in high-performance environments.

But it also brought me to breaking points. Drinking too much. Numbing out on social media. Feeling disconnected from myself, even when everything looked “successful” from the outside.

Five years ago, I stopped drinking. More recently, I left social media. I began stripping away the things that distracted me, drained me, or dulled me.
And as I subtracted, I found something unexpected: more energy. More clarity. More joy. More me.

Stronger Without is the name I’ve given to this path and this space.
It’s not about minimalism for its own sake. It’s about intentionally removing what no longer serves, so we can build deeper strength: physical, emotional, and purposeful.

This newsletter is for men like I used to be - high-performing but hollowed out. Driven, but off-course. Strong in body, but often unsure in direction.

Each Sunday, I share the ideas, tools, and stories that are helping me live with more clarity and intention. From fitness and sobriety, to purpose, parenting, and identity - all filtered through the lens of a man figuring it out in real time.

If that resonates, I’d love to have you along for the journey.

Subscribe. Read. Reflect. And maybe let go of something that’s been holding you back.

We’re not here to become more.
We’re here to become stronger without.
